On September 20, 2025, the highly anticipated 2025 "Shineray Cup" China · Chongqing Motorcycle Off-Road Grand Prix was staged at Chongqing SLOW TAMPING Park. This event, gathering top domestic and international off-road riders, injected strong new momentum into the development of Chinese motorcycle off-road sports through its high-standard organization, spectacular racing conditions, and in-depth exploration of rider culture.

At the opening ceremony, leaders and distinguished guests including Shen Jinqiang, Vice Chairman of the Chongqing Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association; Shi Chonggang, Deputy Director of the Chongqing United Front Work Department and Party Secretary of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce; He Xiaobo, Second-Level Inspector of the Chongqing Municipal Sports Bureau; Luo Ting, Full-time Vice Chairman of the Chongqing Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy and Standing Committee Member of the Chongqing Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference; Tan Xiaolu, President of the Chongqing Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Association; Li Xuanlai, President of the Chengdu Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Federation; and Gong Daxing, Chairman of the East Shineray Group, graced the event and jointly inaugurated the competition.

Popular Sign-Ups and Fierce Competition, Legendary Moments Captured

The 2025 "Shineray Cup" attracted top riders from around the world even in the early registration stage, with an exceptionally high number of sign-ups, fully demonstrating the strong appeal of the event IP. Ultimately, 102 riders participated in the competition, including many well-known riders such as the Huayang Racing Team, champion of the 2025 CMX China Motorcycle Cross-Country Championships; Fang Xiangliang, third-place winner in the International Youth Category of the 2025 Dakar Rally; the nationally renowned champion Xu Jianhao, who found fame at a young age; and Pu Yang, a nationally crowned rider emerging from Chongqing. Hailing from all corners of the country, they shared a love for off-roading and a desire for glory, collectively staging a feast of speed and passion.

The event featured five competition categories: the 250cc Imported Group, 250cc Domestic Group, Binsen EX2 New Energy Unified Group, Binsen EX2 Women's Group, and the Youth Group, achieving the innovation of having fuel-powered and new energy models competing on the same track. On September 19th, the preliminary rounds for each category ignited the initial battles, followed by the ultimate finals on the 20th, which pushed the competition to its climax.

After two days of intense competition, the championship titles for both the 250cc Imported Models Group and the 250cc Domestic Group were won by PATSAKORN (Thai nationality) from the Chongqing Preload International Racing Team. The Binsen EX2 Women's Unified Group champion was Yuan Ruiqi from the Shineray Binsen Racing Team. The Youth Group champion was Thanawat Meephee (Thai nationality) from the Febi Lubricants International Racing Team. The Binsen EX2 New Energy Unified Group champion was Li Yong from the Febi Lubricants International Racing Team.

Upgrades and Challenges Define New Off-Road Playstyles

The return of this 2025 "Shineray Cup" China · Chongqing Motorcycle Off-Road Grand Prix marks the "re-creation and upgrade" of this IP in the Southwest region. Leveraging Shineray Motorcycle's profound heritage in motorcycle manufacturing and event operations, and adhering to the event philosophy of "Racing is Glory," the competition has established a strong reputation within the industry, attracting significant attention from numerous professional riders and enthusiasts.

The event was held at Chongqing SLOW TAMPING Park, where Shineray Motorcycle invested substantially to meticulously upgrade and create a brand-new track. The track, with a total length of 1.2 kilometers, integrates 17 carefully designed natural obstacles and technical artificial sections, including tricky corners and highly challenging undulating sections. It was designed to provide an internationally top-tier competitive environment for participants while also enabling possibilities for various activities like motorcycle stunts and off-road skill demonstrations, making it a comprehensive motorcycle sports base integrating racing, training, and spectatorship.

Tracing Origins and Inheritance: The Solid Footprints of the "Shineray Cup"

The birth of the "Shineray Cup" event stems from the vigorous development of Chongqing, the motorcycle capital of China. As a renowned event IP in the Chinese motorcycle off-road domain, it has garnered widespread acclaim since its inception for its professionalism, competitiveness, and spectator appeal.

From the successful hosting of the first "Shineray Cup" (2007) at the Shineray International Off-Road Circuit, to the third "Shineray Cup" (2009) Grand Prix being included in the national competition catalog and upgraded to a National Class A event, to the fourth "Shineray Cup" (2010) which held qualifying races in places like Liaozhong, Liaoning and Qingdao, Shandong, and added a 100-minute endurance race and an ATV group competition, pioneering a first in domestic competition events, and further to the fifth Shineray Cup held in 2013, the "Shineray Cup" event has consistently adhered to the grassroots approach of "Ride When You Want, The More You Ride, The Wilder You Get," echoing the National Motorcycle Off-Road Championship and jointly solidifying the foundation for the development of motorcycle off-road sports in China.

Shineray Zao Carnival Ignites Rider Revelry

It is worth mentioning that this edition of the "Shineray Cup" was deeply integrated with the "Shineray Zao — 2nd SLOW TAMPING Park Carnival," bringing an unprecedented feast for the vast number of riding enthusiasts and citizens.

From September 19th to 20th, SLOW TAMPING Park transformed into a "Zao" Power Station, hosting a wide variety of activities, including SLOW TAMPING Park check-ins, exciting food experiences, zero-distance bike shows, and entertainment challenge experiences. The Carnival Sound Wave Night featured performances by popular artists and music stars who set the stage ablaze, with exciting benefits like lyric relay and big screen prize draws pushing the on-site atmosphere to a climax. The event garnered over 31 million participant instances both online and offline, becoming a major highlight during the 2025 Chongqing Motor Expo!

The 2025 "Shineray Cup" China · Chongqing Motorcycle Off-Road Grand Prix concluded successfully, while the concurrently held "Shineray Zao" Carnival also achieved remarkable success. This once again demonstrated the robust vitality and industry influence of the "Shineray Cup" as a national-level off-road IP.
